The WCA Waverley Shield is an annual handicap event run specifically for WCA members. The shoot is an age- and category-appropriate Adelaide round. This event is typically held in April or May every year and has been running since 1991.
Shield medals are presented to the first, second and third placed archers (after the handicap allowance has been applied) at a subsequent club meeting. The archer who places first in each event has their name engraved on the WCA Waverley Shield displayed in the WCA clubrooms.
